There probably won’t be too many surprises to be found by anyone who’s been watching the Mission real estate market for any length of time, but suffice to say that it’s a good time to be a buyer due to the influx of new inventory.
For your convenience, we have extracted the data on the Mission real estate market from the FVREB report and have used it to create the simple tables that appear in the sections below. We’ve also added key highlights of the market performance in each section below the tables.
Detached Homes
The key numbers for Mission’s detached home market appear in the table below.

It’s worth taking note of some of the key numbers on the real estate market for detached homes in Mission:
- Sales were down 20% over January 2010 but 21.7% over December 2010
- New listings were down 3.3% over January 2010 but up 214.3% over December 2010
- Total active listings were up 16% over January 2010 and there was no change over December 2010
- Benchmark price was down 8.1% over January 2010 and down 10.6% over December 2010
Townhomes
The key numbers for Mission’s townhome market appear in the table below.

It’s worth taking note of some of the key numbers on the real estate market for townhomes in Mission:
- Sales were down 62.5% over January 2010 and there was no change over December 2010
- New listings were down 57.1% over January 2010 but up 200% over December 2010
- Total active listings were down 8.8% over January 2010 but up 10.7% over December 2010
- Benchmark price was not available
Condominiums
The key numbers for Mission’s condominium market appear in the table below.

It’s worth highlighting some of the key numbers on the real estate market for condominiums in Mission:
- Sales were up 100% over January 2010 but down 33.3% over December 2010
- New listings were down 30% over January 2010 but up 133.3% over December 2010
- Total active listings were down 18.2% over January 2010 and down 3.6% over December 2010
- Benchmark price data was not unavailable
